Sayyid Poband Sayyid") Bandkushayi or (“Chained Sayyid (“Sayyid, removing the shackles”) is a mausoleum and a small necropolis. Located in the southeastern part of the Shahristan of Bukhara. In the 16th century, the quarter and the parish mosque were called Bandkushayi, Hazrat, and later Sayyid The documents mention in this form either Bozori dek (Cauldron Bazaar) and Degrezi (cauldron casting). Sayyid Abu-l-Hasan Hamadani (d. 1004) was descended in the ninth generation of Muhammad from the grandson of the prophet Hassan, the son of Ali, the son of Abu Talib. In Sufism he was associated with Shaykh Ja far al-Khuldi Sufi of the school of al-Junayd al-Baghdadi his student was al-Kalabadi Sayyid Abu-l-Hasan angered the then ruler of Bukhara. He was arrested and put in chains. Before his death, the Martyr bequeathed to be buried in chains, in his own home. His wish was fulfilled, but after 20 years the ashes were transferred to another place, probably to the place where the mausoleum is located up to this day. The name prosperous Mazar and the end of the saint’s seclusion is associated with the local legend about the miracles of Sayyid Abu-l-Hasan. In prison, every time during prayer, the chains fell from the feet of the martyr, and he prayed without hindrance, and again after that he could perform it, and ended up in chains. One day the ruler saw this in a dream and ordered the jailer to find out about the pious man who was languishing and free him from prison.
